AVINEST is a comprehensive range of fully automated nests, manufactured by Potters Poultry. AVINEST is a strong and simple nesting system which is designed for longer life with years of trouble-free use. Based on many years of experience, the nest is designed for the ease of management of breeding and laying flocks. It has been designed for the comfort of the breeder and for the reduction of floor eggs and improved hatchability.
Features include variable speed controls, perforated Astroturf nest pads, interior lights, individual lifting mechanism for each nest floor set and separate motors and control for each belt. Designed for ease of use and suitable for all climatic conditions, the AVINEST is built to the highest quality with durability in mind.
Slats:
The Potters Poultry plastic slat is probably the strongest and most stable available, and you will feel safe and steady when walking on them. A very simple galvanised steel and plastic structure is used beneath the slats for support. The legs are fully adjustable and can cope with variable floor levels. At the edge of the slats, you can choose between either vertical litter boards or wire mesh. Hiding places for red mite have been reduced to an absolute minimum.
